Payment Terms

Accounting Department

Caribbean World Shop accounting department is responsible for a large number of administrative functions within our organization. Though considered "back office" activities, these functions are essential to the proper operation of our financial business. The most common responsibilities of the accounting department are as follows:


Invoice Payments

We require that all invoices be paid via Credit Card, Bank Wire Transfer, or PayPal using our invoice payment page, however, we understand that in some cases this may not be possible. In these instances, we support payments via check (cheque) or Bank Draft. Before making a check or bank draft payment please seek approval from us so we can ensure it is processed correctly and on time.


Bank Drafts and Check Payments

Payments from international sources to Dominican Republic Banks attract a $40 processing fee, and so we're forced to pass this along. Please add this to the total amount the check is made out for. Checks without the $40 processing fee added will not be honored. All checks or Bank drafts should be in USD.

Bank Transfer Payments

Contact your bank to make a bank Transfer for a local Dominican Republic Transfer or an International Money Wire Transfer for (CWS - Caribbean World Shop)


Like check payments, a $40 processing fee is applied for payments made from international (Non-Dominican Republic) banks, which we must pass along. Please add this $40 processing fee to the total transfer amount. Payments without the processing fee will not be honored. All transfers should be in USD.

Vendor Payment Transactions

All COD orders money is collected by our accounting department and is remitted into your CWS account. While doing the monthly reconciliation, we deduct the commission chargeable, along with taxes, and remit the balance amount to your account. This settlement includes both online as well as COD payments.

All payments for your sales on Caribbean World Shop will be disbursed to your bank account on a monthly basis. Below are your bank account details necessary for Caribbean World Shop to transfer your payments; these are to be submitted to anytime during the creation of your vendor account.


Provide the below details on a signed and stamped company or business letterhead:

  • The company's legal Name

  • Bank account number

  • Laban

  • Swift code

  • Bank branch

  • Store currency.


Provide Us with

  • A canceled check, or a bank letter that mentions the vender or

  • Company's legal Name

  • Trading License or commercial or company registration

  • VAT or text certificate if any

  • Passport or residence ID from your country where you are trading from (both sides)


Refund Payment

A refund is when we have charged a payer, and need to cancel the payment and return the funds to the payer. The funds will be returned to whatever payment method (credit card, bank account) that the payer initially used to make the payment.


Returns may be made within seven (7) days from the date of delivery by returning your item by the carrier to the address on the return shipping to our facility in the Dominican Republic.


To request a refund, simply send us an e-mail at within seven (07) days of receiving your product. When we receive such a request from you, we will provide you with instructions on how to return the product to us. We reserve the right to inspect the product prior to approving your refund request. Please note that processing your refund request could take several days, so we ask that you please be patient. Gift items purchased on will be refunded to the original method of payment, if we are unable to refund the original method of payment, Caribbean World Shop will provide you with a store credit for the amount of the refund due to you, which may only be used for purchases on


Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days. Please note that a 10% processing charge might be applied due to stocking and handling of the returned product. For items that were not damaged or defective, you will be responsible for the return shipping costs (whether the item was shipped by parcel or freight)


Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded or exchanged.


Returned merchandise must meet the below requirements in order to be accepted for a refund:

  • All items must be in original condition. Merchandise that has been worn, altered, or damaged will not be accepted.

  • Returns on items with a return tag attached will only be honored if the label has not been removed, is in its original packaging, and is unused.

  • Bespoke Request, customized, engraved, worn, used, altered, Design-Build, Cement, Perishable Goods, and Made to Order or damaged items are final sale and cannot be returned.

  • Due to the intimate nature of clothing, these products should be tried on wearing your own clothes underneath.

  • Figurines, Décor items, such as chairs, tables, bedroom sets, or items with non-standard dimensions, may require special return instructions. If you would like to return one of these items, please Contact Us directly.

  • Items purchased at an outlet store or other retailer or distributor cannot be returned to These items can be returned using the same channel of the original purchase.

Additional fees for door-to-door shipping, white gloves shipping, and Saturday delivery are non-refundable.
