Returns And Exchange


Caribbean World Shop Return And Exchange Policy


Delivery for a refund, as long as the item is in its original condition and packaging. Items that have been used or modified in any way may not be returned. Please see the next section if the item arrived damaged or defective; different terms may apply.


To return an item, visit the My Order page, select the Return or Replace Item button for the appropriate order and follow the instructions. You will be responsible for the return shipping costs, except in instances where the item arrived damaged or defective. Note that the option to initiate a return will only appear for 7 days after delivery.


If you send the item(s) back without a label from Caribbean World Shop or the seller, we recommend insuring your return shipment and using a trackable shipping method. Refunds will not be issued for items damaged in return transit or for returns that are never received.


The following items may not be returned:

  1. Items marked as final sale or "non-returnable" on the product page or during the checkout process

  2. Gift cards; or

  3. Any items sold directly by Caribbean World Shop


Damaged and Defective Items

In the unlikely event that an item you ordered arrives damaged or is defective, you may return the item (and any other items from that order if they are part of a set) for a replacement or a refund, as long as you report the issue within the following timeframes:


  • For Items Shipped by Parcel Carriers (such as FedEx, UPS, or USPS)

  • Damaged and Defective Items: 7 days after delivery

  • For Items Shipped by Freight Carriers (including White Glove Service)7 days after delivery

  • Damaged Items: 7 day after delivery. It’s critical to report the issue within that period so that a claim can be filed with the carrier

  • Defective Items: 7 days after delivery


You can find the type of delivery (parcel or freight) for your item listed on your shipment confirmation email.


We encourage you to inspect the packaging of the item before you accept the item from the carrier. If the packaging or the item appears damaged when it arrives, you should take pictures of the damage and you may inform the carrier and refuse delivery. In that case, please report the issue within the applicable timeframe listed above and you can choose to receive a replacement or a refund.


To report an issue with an item, please visit the My Order page, select the "Return or Replace Item" button for the order and follow the instructions. You may be required to submit photographs of the damaged or defective product and its packaging (the original packaging is required to facilitate a return unless it was damaged in transit and is unusable). 


Important Note About Freight Forwarders: If you decide to use your freight forwarder to ship an item or if you export an item outside the United States or the Dominican Republic yourself or through another carrier, then Caribbean World Shop will not be responsible for providing any replacement or refund for any damaged or defective items. Do not list Caribbean World Shop on any export documentation.


Refund Payment

A refund is when we have charged a payer, and need to cancel the payment and return the funds to the payer. The funds will be returned to whatever payment method (credit card, bank account) that the payer initially used to make the payment.


Returns may be made within 7 days from the date of delivery by returning your item by the carrier to the address on the return shipping to our facility in the Dominican Republic.


To request a refund, simply send us an e-mail at within seven (07) days of receiving your product. When we receive such a request from you, we will provide you with instructions on how to return the product to us. We reserve the right to inspect the product prior to approving your refund request. Please note that processing your refund request could take several days, so we ask that you please be patient. If we are unable to refund the original method of payment, Caribbean World Shop will provide you with a store credit for the amount of the refund due to you, which may only be used for purchases on


Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days. Please note that a 10% processing charge might be applied due to stocking and handling of the returned product. For items that were not damaged or defective, you will be responsible for the return shipping costs (whether the item was shipped by parcel or freight).


Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded or exchanged.


Returned merchandise must meet the below requirements in order to be accepted for a refund:

  • All items must be in original condition. Merchandise that has been worn, altered, or damaged will not be accepted

  • Returns on items with a return tag attached will only be honored if the label has not been removed, is in its original packaging, and is unused

  • Bespoke Request, customized, engraved, worn, used, altered, Design-Build, Cement, Perishable Goods, and  Made to Order or damaged items are final sale and cannot be returned 

  • Due to the intimate nature of clothing, these products should be tried on wearing your own clothes underneath 

  • Figurines, Décor items, such as chairs, tables, bedroom sets, or items with non-standard dimensions, may require special return instructions. If you would like to return one of these items, please  Contact Us directly.

  • Items purchased at an outlet store or other retailer or distributor cannot be returned to These items can be returned using the same channel of the original purchase 

Additional fees for door-to-door shipping, white gloves shipping, and Saturday delivery are non-refundable. 


Gift items purchased on may be returned. However, refunds may only be issued with the same method of payment used for the original purchasing of the goods.


Note: The information you provide us is proprietary and confidential. This information may be used only for the specific purpose provided in connection with the subject above. This information may only be disclosed to an agent who has a need to know the purpose and who is informed of the confidential and proprietary nature of the Caribbean World Shop's collection of information. The unauthorized disclosure or use of this information is strictly prohibited!

Missing Items Or Parts

If your order is missing any items or parts, please notify us as soon as possible and no later than 7 days after delivery. If the item was sold directly by Caribbean World Shop, you should contact Caribbean World Shop Customer Support by clicking the SUPPORT button on the Homepage of Caribbean World Shop page.


Canceling Your Order

You may cancel an order within 30 minutes after placing the order by visiting the My Order page and selecting the CANCEL ORDER button for the order. Note that the option to cancel will only appear for 30 minutes after you place an order. After that point, the order will be processed for delivery to you.


If you would like to cancel an order after 30 minutes, you should contact Caribbean World Shop Customer Support by clicking the “Support" button on the Caribbean World Shop home page, if the item was sold by Caribbean World Shop, or click the  Cancel Order button, if it was sold by a third-party seller. Please note that we cannot guarantee that your order can be canceled after 30 minutes, but we'll try our best to help.
